Custom Gifts in Jodhpur
Jodhpur is where ANKX started, so we'll admit this page is a bit personal.
Anyone who lives here knows how gifting goes. The sangeet is in nine days, the boss wants thank-you gifts for the whole team before Diwali, and you're googling at 11 pm with the chai gone cold. It happens every year, and every year people act surprised.
Start with the occasion
Weddings first, because they're the biggest job. There's something for the couple, return gifts for guests, little thank-yous for the relatives who've been running around all week. Count everyone, then add a few more. Someone always gets forgotten. If guests are flying in, keep things light for the suitcase.
Office gifts are about looking the same. Forty matching pieces look planned. Forty slightly different ones look like a mix-up.
Birthdays and anniversaries are the easy ones. A date only the two of you know does more than a big budget.
Timing, which people get wrong
Personalised pieces take 3 to 6 working days to make, and shipping is 3 to 7 more. Diwali and Rakhi slow everything down. If the date can't move, order early and ask for the delivery estimate in writing.
Clock Tower market or online?
The markets near the Clock Tower are worth a walk, and holding a piece before you buy counts for a lot. But personalisation there can be hit or miss, and the choice is limited. Online gives more designs, and it's easier to reorder if you suddenly need twenty more. Read the product page properly, because what you can customise differs from item to item. Custom pieces can't be returned once they're made, so check the spelling twice, then get someone else to check it once more.
Summers here are fierce. If a parcel will sit in the heat, ask how it's packed.
